ESSENTIAL SERVICES HOCKEY LEAGUE
REGULAR SEASON

Inaugural season established by paramedics Bob Beaudoin, Chuck Dawson and Len Tetrault with the goals of creating a hockey league integrating the core essential services (Fire, Customs, Police and EMS) and to facilitate in the field communication.

Difficulties in the first year include player and goaltending assessments leading to wide variation in team standings and all time high in goals per game average (14.1 goals/game)

Blue team ends up last but late season goaltending acquisition of firefighter Terry Gifford changes for team drive into the playoffs

Adstoll arena for all games

Blue defeats orange 2 games to none for first ESHL cup
